BEHAVIOURAL ASSESSMENT & TRAINING
Struggling with reactivity, anxiety, aggression or over-excitement? Our Behavioural Assessment & Training is designed to uncover the root cause of your dog’s behaviour — not just suppress the symptoms.

We take a behavioural and psychological approach to dog training, helping you understand why your dog is behaving the way they are, and how to guide them toward better choices.

During the in-home assessment, Ana will work with you to understand why your dog is behaving the way they are and identify the root causes behind unwanted behaviours.

By observing your dog in their own environment, we can better understand the triggers affecting their behaviour and begin implementing practical training strategies straight away.

Our goal isn’t just obedience — it’s helping your dog learn how to self-regulate, so they can remain calm, neutral and responsive even around triggers.

This is ideal for:
-
Reactive dogs (barking, lunging, over-arousal)
-
Anxious or nervous dogs
-
Aggressive behaviours
-
Dogs lacking impulse control
-
Resource guarding
-
Rescue dogs that havent had proper socialisation
The result: a dog that doesn’t need constant management, because they’ve learned how to stay calm and regulate on their own.

A follow-up session is recommended 4–6 weeks later to reassess progress, adjust the training plan if needed, and ensure the best long-term outcome for both dog and owner.

1-ON-1 IN-HOME DOG TRAINING
Every dog is different, that's why our private, in-home dog training is fully customised to your dog, your lifestyle and your goals.

We work with you in your home and local environment to address:
-
Pulling on the lead
-
Poor recall
-
Jumping, barking or destructive behaviour
-
Lack of boundaries or structure
By training where the behaviour actually happens, we create practical, reliable results that transfer into everyday life.

Our training focuses heavily on building:
-
Clear communication
-
Consistent rules and boundaries
-
Reinforcement of a calm state instead of obedience commands
This allows your dog to stop relying on constant direction and instead learn how to make calm, appropriate choices independently.
The result: a dog that is relaxed, responsive and able to self-regulate in your home and out in the world.
Follow up class recommended 4-6weeks after to reassess training and ensure the best outcome.

1-ON-1 IN-HOME PUPPY CLASS
The first few months of your puppy’s life are critical. Our puppy training programs are designed to set strong foundations so your dog grows into a calm, confident and well-mannered adult.

We go beyond just basic obedience and focus on:
-
Proper socialisation (without overwhelm)
-
Toilet and home training
-
Engagement and focus
-
Early impulse control
-
Clear structure and leadership
Most importantly, we teach your puppy how to self-regulate their emotions, so they don’t develop common issues like reactivity, anxiety, or over-excitement later in life.

Our in-home puppy training in Melbourne ensures your dog learns in the environment where behaviour actually matters — your home and daily routine.

The result: a puppy that doesn’t just “listen” — but naturally chooses calm, balanced behaviour.

A follow-up session is recommended 4–6 weeks later to reassess progress, adjust the training plan if needed, and ensure the best long-term outcome for both dog and owner.

4-6 WEEK FOLLOW UP CLASS
Recommended 4–6 weeks after your initial appointment.

Ideal for tracking your progress, staying accountable, and reassessing your training plan to ensure all concerns are being addressed.

These sessions give you the opportunity to continue working your dog around real-world distractions, reinforcing structure, engagement and clear communication. In some classes, we may introduce one of our dogs to help guide controlled exposure and improve your dog’s neutrality and behaviour around others.

As you and your dog progress, we can move to the next level or focus on areas such as recall, obedience and increased socialisation — all while continuing to build a dog that remains calm, balanced and able to self-regulate without constant input.

The result: a consistent, reliable dog that can stay calm and responsive in everyday environments.
